You will find that pirate corps, by and large, are self sufficient and use alternate characters to move ships and materials from high sec into low and null sec themselves. That said you will find people who would like to spend more time shooting their guns instead of playing logistics. You may want to simply wander around, find some groups, and contact them directly and let them know that you would be willing to move materials in for them in exchange for Do Not Shoot status, protection, and some money for your time.
Of course, you may also run into the kind of people that will set up a courier contract for you with a high collateral, guide you into low-sec, and then shoot you for the giggles. Use your own discretion, obviously. Some pirate corporations are more likely to keep their word than others, though those who don't may simply be called thugs.
That said, there is some money to be made by buying items in high sec then moving them to popular areas in low and null sec. As an example, I sometimes buy T2 and faction ammunition in Jita or Dodixie and then I move it into areas where pirates call home. I tend to have anywhere from a 10% to a 50% markup, depending on the item.
I am also able to sell a dozen T1 warp core stabilizers for a quarter million a piece every month. Well over a 1000% markup.
The thing to remember is that, even though these markups are possible and there isn't much in the way of competition, the traffic for these items will be very low. You will make money, but not a whole lot. Not nearly as much as you can make in a trade hub, margin trading all day.
The upside is that, because of a lack of competition, you don't need to babysit your orders as you do in the major trade hubs. Some people call this the 'slow sell' system. Set up shop somewhere, put up your sell orders, and forget about them for a month. Once people get used to the idea that they can find supplies in a particular system, you'll see sales pick up a bit. I have sell orders that have been up for almost 3 months, about to expire (! I should renew them soon) and I still see people pulling from them. It's nice.
If you are comfortable with making a slow but steady income with minimal effort, this isn't a bad way to do it. Scout out areas of territory where there are people who get into fights and don't have any good resupply choices, then move in what they might need.
You may with to consider moving the following: Ammunition, both normal, faction, and T2; Capacitor Boosters (100, 150, 400, 800); Weapon Upgrades; Armor Repairers; Armor and Shield Hardeners; Drones; Nanite Paste; Tackling Modules; Speed Modules; Popular Guns and Launchers; Cloaks; Probes and Probe Launchers; ABs and MWDs.
And no, I don't mind more people selling materials outside of high-sec space. I wish more people would. As someone who goes Pew Pew Pew myself, I sometimes find myself needing something Right Now and I am happy to pay a premium for the convenience.
